I am one of the lucky people in life who get to do for a living what they really, really love. Even as a little girl I knew I wanted to be a counselor, someone who helped people find solutions for their troubles, to like themselves more, to be happier. After 30 years as a therapist, I am still inspired by the same thing – helping you become clear, calm, and confident.

The core principles that have come to guide my life and my work are non-judgement and self-acceptance. Most of us have been taught that in order to improve, we must focus on our shortcomings and try to eliminate them. I believe the opposite --  in order to become our best selves, we need to focus on healing emotional wounds, building and expanding on strengths and successes, and learning what it means to regard ourselves with love. (If you believe you have no strengths or successes,  that's where we'll start!) Creating positive momentum in thought, feeling and action is not as hard as it may sound! I will teach you how!

The deepest, most-lasting, most comfortable, most healing and satisfying changes that you will ever make will come from kindnessencouragement, and compassion for yourself. You deserve all that and more!
